"Good Driver, Good Service" Experience:
The passenger's father hoped to visit the Cross Bay Link (CBL) in Tseung Kwan O upon commissioning. Unfortunately, the passenger's father suffered a stroke and needed to be hospitalized for treatment right before the CBL was commissioned, and was unable to visit the CBL. Later, the passenger's father recovered and left the hospital, but was still mobility impaired and required using a wheelchair. The passenger's father learned that the view at CBL was beautiful and decided to visit the CBL and, at the same time, travel around. The taxi driver, Mr. LAM picked up the passenger and her father on the street and immediately noticed that the passenger’s father was a wheelchair passenger, so he took the initiative to assist in folding the wheelchair and put it into the baggage compartment of the taxi. After boarding the taxi, the passenger told Mr. LAM that their destination was the CBL. Noticing the reason for the passengers going to the CBL, Mr. LAM chitchatted with the passengers along the journey, and Mr. LAM performed the role of a tour guide to introduce to the passengers the CBL and the scenery in Tseung Kwan O. Later, Mr. LAM further enquired with the passenger about the next destination to visit, and the passenger decided to go to Kowloon Peak to enjoy the panoramic view of Hong Kong. Upon arrival, Mr. LAM took the initiative to help the passenger's father get out of the taxi, parked the taxi aside, and enjoyed the view of Hong Kong with the passengers. As it was getting late, the passenger asked Mr. LAM to drive to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to have dinner with her father. At last, the passenger and her father took a picture with Mr. LAM as a memento. Although the passenger would like to offer tips to Mr. LAM, he eventually refused to accept any additional fare on top of meter fare.
